Joy in the Way: 乐道

"The Joy of the Path" is the monk-poet Shi Shengjing's new masterpiece following "Moonlight Imprint, No Heart".

With a bodhicitta (enlightened aspiration) deeply rooted in poetic art, the poet unfolds for readers the inheritance and praise of Buddhist benevolent culture, singing and giving thanks for familial love, friendship, romantic love, and even the bonds formed through the internet.

Gratitude is the central theme of The Joy of the Path. In the poet's eyes, every kind of emotion is fundamentally good. Therefore, he cultivates affinity with goodness, walks alongside goodness, and practices goodness together with worldly affection, online affection, the love between life and death, and the love of Dharma-profoundly understanding their essence.

He skillfully employs the skillful means of the Dharma, bringing joy to others and himself, benefiting both self and others, and thus finds joy in the path.

Goodness and gratitude reduce conflict and increase harmony in the world.

《乐道》，是僧侣诗人释圣静继《月印无心》之后，又一部力作。

诗人用菩提心深入诗歌艺术，为读者展开对佛教善文化的继承与赞颂，对亲情、友情、爱情以及网络情缘的歌唱与感恩。

感恩，是《乐道》诗集的主题。诗人眼中，任何一种情感都是善良的，因此与善结缘，与善为伍，与善同修世间情、网络情、生死情，佛法情，并且深谙其道。他善使方便法门，乐人乐己，利己利他，因而乐道。

善与感恩，使世间少了纷争，多了和谐。
