Ataria - Mission: High School

ATARIA-Mission: High School follows the unlikely rebirth of a next-generation covert weapon as a fifteen-year-old girl trying to survive suburban America.

Ataria, a MK-VII Advanced Tactical Assault and Reconnaissance Insertion Android, is engineered for black-ops missions and controlled by a classified U.S. intelligence program. During a mission in Vladivostok, a counter-intelligence trap detonates, critically damaging her systems and corrupting her memory matrix. Her handlers believe her destroyed. Instead, Ataria reboots in emergency safe mode, activating a fabricated civilian identity: Antonia "Toni" Reid, an amnesiac American teenager.

Smuggled back to the United States through official channels, Toni is placed in foster care in the quiet town of Fairmont, Oregon, and enrolled at a local high school. With her combat directives suppressed but not erased, she must navigate an environment far more unpredictable than any battlefield: adolescence. Everyday experiences-classrooms, friendships, social hierarchies, and emotions-overwhelm her damaged sensors and untested humanity, while fragments of her true nature surface through uncanny reflexes, inhuman strength, and impossible technical insight.

As Toni struggles to maintain her cover, she forms tentative bonds with classmates, particularly the sharp-eyed outsider Connie Bennett and the inquisitive athlete James Marcus.
