St. George's Lenten Devotions: With Daily Patristic Readings is a comprehensive manual of Lenten Devotions drawn from various works of the worthy Anglican Patrimony; supplemented with instructions found in Catholic Manuals. This book contains Penitential Offices, Devotions for the Passion and Crucifixion, an Examination of Conscience, and Daily Readings from the early Church Fathers for Lent, Passion Week, and Holy Week. This book is part of an ongoing series of books under the "St. George's Prayer Books" line. A series which seeks to create more Anglican Patrimony materials for Catholics to use. St. George has been selected as the namesake of this project due to him being the Patron of England, the nation where the Anglican Patrimony originates. It is hoped that this book and future books might be edifying to the prayer lives of those who find the Anglican Patrimony nourishing and that the Anglican Ordinariates might be enriched by these resources.
