When King Ralph and Queen Suzette welcome their four newborn cubs, everything seems perfect... until one of them isn't quite what they expected. Covered in an overwhelming amount of fur, their son Rodger leaves everyone asking the same question: Is there really a lion in there?
As Rodger grows, his unusual appearance brings laughter, confusion, and even fear from others. Simple things like making friends and fitting in at school, become big challenges. But when danger threatens the entire kingdom, Rodger discovers that the very thing that made him feel like an outsider was the key to saving everyone.
Filled with humor, heart, and a powerful message, this is a story about identity, acceptance, and discovering that what makes you different may be exactly what makes you extraordinary. Author and Illustrator, Keith D. McSwain Sr., deals with problems children face. Is There A Lion In There? is delightful and a must read for fans of children's books.
