Evil Vampires

Reese is a high school girl, raised by two vampire hunters. She was taught at a young age how dangerous vampires are and has seen the terror of them first hand. She plays her part well and acts normal, she even has a lifelong friend in Angel who is oddly quiet about her home life. Outside of school she hunts with her parents, determined to kill as many blood suckers as possible. She was given simple rules. All vampires are evil and will always kill given the chance. Angel is a high schooler, raised by her two parents who don't approve of her behavior, even calling her a disgrace. Her only close friend is Reese who is always so secretive for some reason. The two from the outside would seem quite similar except for one slight difference. Angel is a vampire.

"You ready?" He let out in a deep voice, I met his gaze and smiled. "Always am dad." I whispered, with that the signal was given and my mom popped out of the tall bush to the side of us into the open. I heard hissing then the sound of the UV lights turning on. Dad rubbed his beard and leaped into action with me following.

The vampire we had entrapped here was already burning from the lights and was to distracted to notice me running up to it, stake in hand. In one motion I sent it right through the vampire's heart.

"Good job Reese, just try to remember not to get too close unless you have an advantage, vampires speed is not to be messed with." My mother said as she turned off her lights, leaving us in near darkness again here in the woods.

"Ah Claire come on hun, she did great." My dad responded with a smile, patting me on the back. Mom did not look impressed at all.

"She needs to be perfect, you'd understand if you went through what I went through." She huffed and there was an immediate silence among us, mom shook her head and waved her hand.
