RESTORED TEXT and HISTORY OF THE KJ ENGLISH BIBLE
What Most KJV Publishers Omit is Included in this Historic Edition:
Most mass-market KJV publishers strip away the foundational history of the English Bible "to save printing costs." They ignore the original source translator and universally delete the crucial 1611 Preface.
The Historic Edition resurrects these missing artifacts. Discover the historical KJV lineage, and witness comparison photos of the original translation, and 7 revisions of Tyndale's translation all compared next to each other.
Easy to Read: No text dips into the curve of the spine.
As a Single-Column Reader, the verse-by-verse numbers sit securely outside the text in the margin. The majestic prose of the King James flows without the mental distraction of numbers inside paragraphs.
Read the 1611 Text Publishers conceal (intentionally or unintentionally)
KJV publishers predominantly omit the original 1611 Preface to the Reader. The deletion silences the KJ Revisers' own words, such as "Out of many good ones, one principal good one", indicating the KJV is a revision of past English Bibles.
Most publishers also omit "FORMER TRANSLATIONS DILIGENTLY COMPARED AND REVISED" on the Title Page. William Tyndale, the original Translator of 83.7% of the New Testament, is never mentioned as the Father of the Bible.

The one-inch inner margin prevents text from vanishing into the curve of the gutter. Paragraph Bibles embed verse numbers inside the scripture - subconsciously interrupting mental focus. The single-column layout places every verse number away from the text in the outside margin. So you can read scripture without distracting numbers.
Finally, the Historic Edition documents the direct Tyndale-to-1611 lineage.
