The novel "Sita and Vanya: The Untold Story of Friendship" is an emotional story told from the perspective of Vanya, (Sita's friend) a fictional character from the Ramayana. Vanya spent her childhood with Sita in Mithila. Coincidentally, after Sita's marriage, Vanya also get married, and both depart together from Mithila. During the journey from Mithila to Ayodhya and then to exile, she witnesses Sita's patience, compassion, empathy, and feminine experiences.
