Carolyn Sidgwick is the founder of Soul Love, a space created to support healing, connection, and emotional wellbeing through life's most challenging moments.
Her work has been deeply shaped by her own personal journey with grief-a journey that changed everything. Because when you lose a love so deep, life as you once knew it can never be the same. It doesn't simply alter your world... it creates a new chapter entirely, one you never expected to have to write.
In the midst of her loss, Carolyn found herself navigating waves of pain, disbelief, and the slow, often overwhelming realisation of her new reality. Even though she knew she had so much to be grateful for, the depth of the grief she felt was undeniable. Acceptance did not come quickly-it unfolded over time, in its own way, as she learned to sit with the emotions, rather than rush through them.
Through this experience, Carolyn came to understand that grief is not something to "get over," but something we learn to carry, process, and grow around. She also discovered how deeply grief impacts not only the heart and mind, but the body too-and how important it is to nurture ourselves through every layer of it.
Soul Love was born from this space. A desire to help others feel less alone. To offer comfort, understanding, and a place where people can gently process their emotions in their own time.
Through her writing, Carolyn creates words that people can connect with-words that validate, support, and remind each reader that their journey is their own, and that however they are feeling is okay.
