商品簡介
Committed, healthy and motivated staff are a hallmark of a successful organisation. From the perspective of occupational and organisational psychology, this study examines the impact that a sense of meaning at work has on employees in elderly care, and identifies the factors responsible for this experience. As the demand for qualified specialists is set to rise in the coming years due to multidimensional societal changes, the discontinuous career paths of geriatric care workers must be positively influenced in the long term and their motivation to remain in the profession must be strengthened. A sense of meaning at work has been shown to counteract staff turnover, stress, inner resignation and burnout - for this reason, measures must be implemented to promote a sense of meaning at work.
