My memoir is organized around Medicine Wheel teachings: Childhood, Adolescence, Adulthood, and Elderhood. It traces my life from White Anglo-Saxon Christian upbringing through marriage to a Black Mohawk man, exposure to Indigenous teachings, and my second marriage, to a woman.
With the Seventh Generation in mind, author Wendy Dennys tells her life story in seven chapters in which she explores her relationships with her first spouse, Paul, and her second, Maureen, and with her children, family, and friends.
