The Jesus Insurgency

The problem in the world today is not that people haven't received the gospel but precisely that they have. Tragically, the "gospel" in which they have put their trust is a pale reflection of the good news about Jesus proclaimed in the New Testament. It is a muddled gospel: truncated, anemic, other-worldly, and ego-centric. Many people in the church are aware that something is desperately wrong. Some call for deconstruction.
