Most Christians are intimately familiar with Ephesians 2:8-9 as the "entry door" to salvation. We preach it to the lost to show them they cannot work their way into Heaven. However, we must realize that according to Colossians 2:6, this verse is also the absolute key to a successful walk: "As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him." If you were saved by Grace through Faith, and that not of yourselves, you must walk by Grace through Faith. In the "Courtroom," these terms are viewed as a transaction-God provides a product (Grace) and we provide the currency (Faith). But in the "Garden," we discover that both grace and faith are part of a single, divine life-flow. To live the "Exchanged Life," we must first dissect the anatomy of these two words. Are you exhausted by the "Grit" of religious performance? For centuries, the transformative power of the Gospel has been muffled by a "Courtroom" vocabulary that focuses on legal standing, moral effort, and the constant fear of failure. We have been taught to treat God as a Judge and our faith as a defense attorney, leaving us "numbed" like a lion in a cage-possessing the nature of a king but living in the sluggishness of a servant. In Defining His Grace, you will embark on a journey back to the Garden. By uncovering the original Greek and Hebrew meanings lost in traditional translation, this book dismantles the "Strenuous Toil" of legalism and reveals the "Divine Influence" that was always meant to be your source. It is time to stop judging your life by the Tree of Knowledge and start living by the Tree of Life
