The respiratory route of transmission made it easy to infect many patients and spread in many places in a very short time, the protective measures were the only known before the invention of vaccines and available treatments, so social isolation with wearing masks and face shields with high sanitation measures were the golden protective measures. Some infected cases reported ocular manifestations in the form of redness, foreign body sensation, conjunctival secretion, and even drop of vision. Many studies examined the infected patients regarding ocular manifestation regardless the severity of the disease and many manifestations were reported.
