Listen, I've made plenty of mistakes in my thirty-six years. But hacking the state server and adding an extra $500 to folks' food assistance cards doesn't qualify as one.

Unfortunately, the justice system didn't agree.

Ten years for federal fraud is a bullshit sentence.

But when I find out that taking the omega blood work gives you a 5% sentence reduction, I jump at it. The stats on actually being identified as an omega are so low. I'll take six months of my life back for a poke.

Starting the Setias Community was one of the best decisions I've ever made. A safe, large home, with lots of space and light. A tight-knit community who support each other. My two pack mates who I love and trust with my life. My home is ready. I am ready. I will protect and love any omega that Zatura blesses us with.

Two packs in our community have found their omegas. I am certain that a sweet, eager little human will be found for my pack soon.

Growing up as a female alpha, I was expected to become a first, an aleron: protector and leader. But it was never in my heart.

When I met Atiox at the Alpha House, I knew immediately the big, showy sweetheart was the perfect foil for me.

I'll train him or her with a gentleness that I did not use on my packmates, for surely, a tiny alien species in a new home will need a soft hand.

I joined Atiox and Lux in Pack Endral almost seven revolutions ago, just as they were building our pack house. I was in time to design my kitchen, for, as a charax, that will be my domain.

And it's perfect. Our life, our pack, has been perfect.

Except for the little omega-shaped hole.
