Great White: an Eamon Gold novel

"The verdict: GET IT! Trouble reliably finds an aging but clever private eye in Helms' witty mystery novel... An engrossing thriller built around a strong central character."
-Kirkus Reviews

City-by-the-Bay private investigator Eamon Gold (Brittle Karma; Doctor Hate) juggles two dangerous assignments in this new tale by multiple award-winning author Richard Helms.
A year ago, upscale loanshark Sam Brownlee hired Eamon Gold to locate his missing wife. Now, Brownlee is on trial for her murder, and renowned defense attorney Wilson Varnadore hires Gold to find any evidence that might exonerate him.
Varnadore also wants Gold to look into the arrest of Libby Cordelia Hackney, a brash young PI who has been arrested for the murder of her client, a radio station owner.
In the course of his investigation, Gold encounters shallow privileged housewives, dangerous Armenian gangsters, one disgruntled cop who holds a longstanding grudge against him and another who distrusts him, white supremacist drug dealers, identity forgers, and more murder than any private eye should face-if that private eye isn't named Eamon Gold.
