商品簡介
The biotite granites, metadiorites, and metatonalites, as well as the lamprophyres of S嶲u幨a, have been the subject of several studies and diamond exploration campaigns, notably at Bobi, Diarabana, and Toubabouko. Studies conducted as part of the petrographic, mineralogical, and geochemical investigation of the S嶲u幨a kimberlites have produced a hand-drawn geological map of the area. Thus, this study aims to produce a remote-sensing map of the geological formations and diamond potential of northern S嶲u幨a using Landsat-7 ETM+ images, SRTM images, and field data. To this end, several remote-sensing investigation methods were employed. The satellite and field data were processed and imported into a GIS. The methodological approach consisted of performing, on the one hand, a principal component analysis, a texture analysis, spatial filtering, and color composites. Thematic mapping helps guide future exploration efforts for mineral deposits. The processing of field data allowed us to validate the results of our work and to map the mineralized zones.
