For Such a Time: Ruth, Esther, and the God Who Sees You - Twelve Weeks for Women's Small Groups (Leader Guide)

You said yes to leading a room of women through Ruth and Esther. This is everything you need to do it.

Your role is less teacher than host. You are not the woman with all the answers; you are the one who goes first with honesty and makes it safe for everyone else to be real.

This is a complete guide, not a companion. All twelve sessions carry the full participant material your women are holding, with the leader material set alongside it. You will never be flipping between two books while eleven women wait.

Every session adds:

- Key Scriptures - the verses the night turns on

- Talking Points, including what not to say

- A leader note on every question - eighty-four of them

- A pastoral note on the hardest ground in the passage

- How to pull it together when the conversation scatters

- A ninety-minute session flow, with a sixty-minute version

You also get what to do before week one, facilitation principles that work in a real living room, a chapter on building the kind of group where formation actually happens, and a plan for after the final session - including how to recognize the women God is already forming into your next leaders.

The aim is not information about Ruth and Esther. It is formation: women becoming more like Jesus, in the company of people learning to love like him. Ruth's story ends in a genealogy that runs straight to him, and that is the point of the whole thing.

This book touches grief, loneliness, and shame, and so will your conversations. You do not have to fix any of it. Presence is the holier answer, and He is the one actually doing the forming.

Scripture printed in full from the World English Bible (Updated), set one verse per line so nobody loses her place when you say "look at verse nine." Participant Guide sold separately - every woman should have her own copy.
