Since 2000, consulted for companies across more than 35 industries.Served as chairman of Metro Vision, a partnership of businesses and governments of nine parishes in the metro New Orleans area, which was the primary driver of economic development in the region.Was a stock and commodities broker and member of the Chicago Board of Trade; hedged for companies that processed over 35% of the nation's poultry, and was actively involved in the CBT broiler contract governing committee. In addition, liuzza authored the board of trade's official broiler contract trading manual for publication.As a member of the Louisiana State Workforce Development Commission, Liuzza mediated differences between the state's Department of Labor and the Department of Welfare for them to jointly file Louisiana's application for President Bill Clinton's welfare-to-work grants. Louisiana was the first state to file and receive its grant of $25,000,000.
