His story is a harrowing one, both emotionally and spiritually, for despite the fact that he is able to disprove the Church's claim of infallibility, he can never truly dispel the fear that it has instilled in him. A dread of death and eternal damnation is the legacy of a belief which he carries with him to this day.
Part Two of the book is written by Reg himself. In it he poses the questions he was prevented from asking by the Church, to ask and shares his findings with the reader. In the course of his lifelong search for truth, Reg Atkinson has discovered a principle which explains man's basic nature and the Church's role in the development of the infrastructures by which we live.
Often angry and highly controversial, this book cannot fail to provoke the reader into thought - if it does not spur him into action.
