UNDIMMED is a full-length Women-Fiction novel that follows seven women - across Nairobi, Nakuru, Kisumu, Lagos, London, and Kampala - as they each confront the lives they have been living and the lives they were made to live. It is a story about depression and grief, about marriage and motherhood, about ambition and identity, about the particular cost of performing strength for so long that you forget what it feels like to simply exist.
What sets UNDIMMED apart is its dual architecture. It is a novel - fully realised, emotionally complete, with characters whose lives are vivid and whose stories are gripping. It is also an empowerment guide - with reflection prompts at the close of every narrative chapter, four full standalone empowerment chapters, and a complete practical toolkit (the Identify Her Toolbox) that transforms the reading experience into a personal journey.
UNDIMMED speaks directly to the women who have been told - by the world, by a man, by their own exhausted inner voice - that they are too much, that they want too much, that their light is too bright for the spaces they have been assigned. It is the story of what happens when they stop believing that. It is, in every sense, a love letter.
