Haiku expression is help for that sneaky brain who likes to play foe on odd days, maybe everyday. We can help our minds in all kinds of ways, and befriend ourselves. Start with a single writing or saying about something that really strikes a mental chord. Then, scribble a little healthy word scramble to eventually get that 5-7-5 syllable, three line punch. It feels good to get it out and start the haiku, regardless of how long it takes to finish. A short, daily haiku may turn into a rambling stream of consciousness made from a series of haiku, like in this book. Let's put a spin on how we tell our stories while healing.
