CONTROL-Z collects 67 works of digital art made entirely in Microsoft Paint between 2007 and 2011, drawn on the trackpad of a Gateway laptop, one finger at a time. No layers, no filters, and an undo that only went three steps back. Made in the years following the loss of the artist's mother, the work became a daily act of healing and meditation. Believed lost when the original files disappeared, the collection survived only as compressed uploads from a 2011 portfolio site. Restored pixel by pixel and enlarged to their original scale for the first time, these images are collected here alongside the artist's own reflections on each piece, and the hand-drawn ballpoint pen work that started it all.
