Meet Archie, a curious little Highland cow with big dreams, an even bigger sense of adventure... and a habit of getting distracted along the way!
Archie has a marvellous plan! He's travelling all the way from Scotland to New York City to find the magnificent Statue of Liberty.
Armed with his map and plenty of determination, Archie is sure he knows exactly where he's going. But there's just one problem...
New York is far too exciting!
As he makes his way through the city, Archie discovers famous New York sights, meets new friends and learns that sometimes the things you find along the way can be just as wonderful as the place you were trying to reach.
Archie Goes to New York is a beautifully illustrated, rhyming picture book celebrating curiosity, travel, discovery and the joy of exploring the world around us.
Filled with colourful hand painted illustrations, playful details and plenty for little readers to spot, Archie's first adventure introduces children to the sights and excitement of New York City while gently encouraging them to stay curious, embrace the unexpected and enjoy the journey.
Perfect for children aged 3-8, families who love to travel, Highland cow fans and little explorers with very curious minds.
And when the story is over, the adventure isn't quite finished. Young readers can look back through the book to see what they spotted along the way.
Because with Archie, there's always another adventure waiting just around the corner.
The first book in The Adventures of Archie series, written and illustrated by Scottish artist Abbie Dracea.
