Bunny wakes up excited to play outside in his brand-new shoes. His mom warns him that rain is coming, and dark clouds are already gathering-but Bunny is sure it will be fine. He wants to play ball, so that is what he chooses to believe.
When the storm arrives, Bunny's shoes are soaked, his ball is muddy, and he discovers that his friends were better prepared because they paid attention to the same clues he ignored. Later, Bunny misses another opportunity because he acts too late. With help from his friends and his mom, he begins to understand an important lesson: wanting something to be true does not make it true-and once we understand what is real, we can make better choices about what to do next.
