Loving Presence: 24 Contemplations and Practices

Loving Presence is defined as awareness filled with the qualities of love. It meets what is here with warmth, gentleness, tenderness, and care. It can be experienced through the breath, the body, the mind, and awareness itself.

Each entry contains six short contemplative passages followed by a simple practice. The practices use breathing, gentle movement, touch, listening, seeing, creativity, and quiet attention to help orient and anchor the reader in Loving Presence.

The contemplations explore the warmth of being, living stillness, the open heart, gentleness, softness, tenderness, peace, ease, quiet joy, loving communication, connection with other beings, nature, and the presence of love within and around us.
