While assessment has long been an end-of-learning activity to measure what learners can do, the outcome-oriented approach does not always foster learning motivation effectively. 係以「科技人才與研究成果服務平台(NPHRST)」為調查母體，針對博士相關議題所作的線上調查。繼2014年首次進行國內博士教育及就業環境的全面性調查後，2015年將調查重點聚焦於不同機構性質及領域之供需情況及對未來博士就業市場之看法。線上調查時間為2015年7/10 - 7/31，發函對象為NPHRST中具博士學歷者，去除已退休與年齡為70歲以上者，並排除無email或email有誤者，共寄發40,547份問卷調查函，總計回收4,846份問卷，去除重複填答者，有效問卷共計4,590份，回收率為11.5%。問卷設計根據博士現職工作的機構性質與職業別分為「大專校院」、「研究機構」、「企業」及「醫療院所」等四大類型，問項包含「基本資料」、「博士教育」、「目前就業與供需情形」、「未來博士就業市場」及「其他」等五大部分。分析結果含量化與質化兩大部分，量化結果分為基本資料、現職工作、目前供需知覺情況、學用接軌情形和未來五年博士就業市場五大部分；質性分析結果則根據 1,589份回卷資料，整理為「教育現況與問題」、「就業市場與就業現況」和「對政府的觀感 與建議」三項。結論則針對報告量化及質性分析最為關注之少子化、學用接軌差、低薪等現象提供建議。

Professor Frederick W. Mote (1922–2006) has been widely recognized as a key figure in the field of Sinology. He taught at Princeton University for thirty-one years and was a founder of both Princeton’s Department of East Asian Studies and its re-markable Gest (East Asian) Library. Yuan Haowen 元好問 (1190–1257) is one of the greatest Chinese poets of the past eight hundred years. He is especially famous for his poems lamenting the death and disorder that accompanied the decline, fall, and aftermath of the Jin dynasty, when the Mongols took over North China.
