Electronic Business Interoperability: Concepts, Opportunities and Challenges

This collection of twenty-six articles on business to business integration and communications showcases current scholarship in interoperability solutions of electronic data exchange and use. The work is divided into seven sections covering interoperability issues in electronic business, business process validation, web-services based approaches, semantic technologies, semantically enabled e-business solutions, e-business frameworks and interactive security. Individual papers address topics such as process mediation, interoperability and collaboration, context-sensitive ontology matching, business document exchange systems and information security in B2B networks.
