Stephen Krasner has been one of the most influential theorists within international relations and international political economy over the past few decades. Stephen D. Krasner is the Graham H. Stuart Professor of International Relations at Stanford and a Senior Fellow at the Freeman Spogli Institute and the Hoover Institution. He has served as Director of Policy Planning at the U.S. State Department and on the National Security Council staff. He has written on US foreign policy, north-south relations and sovereignty and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
