商品簡介
Twenty-one contributions from scholars of education present models of developmental education programs in higher education. The models consist of methods and techniques for implementing developmental education activities and ways of creating environments intended to improve learning outcomes. Following the introductory chapters, contributions are arranged into sections on affective and cognitive support services, curriculum and instruction, assessment and evaluation, and integrating developmental programs in a comprehensive developmental education model. A sampling of topics includes a counseling model for developmental learners, a collaborative writing model for college students with emphasis on cultural diversity, computer feedback strategies, and program evaluation.
