Neal (education, Pfeiffer U.) draws deeply from his 16 years of experience as a teacher and administrator in public schools to describe the pain of the children he encountered who were emotionally, physically or sexually abused. He backs up his experience from the data available (which is difficult to get because of privacy standards and parental consent problems) to analyze situations that indicate the public schools, rather than helping children at risk, feed on weaker children and, in essence, render them disposable.
