Information Systems for Emergency Management

Citing the most significant value of the volume as being reflected in the number of included analytical field studies, Van de Walle (Tilburg U., the Netherlands), Turoff (emeritus, information systems, New Jersey Institute of Technology, US), and Hiltz (emerita, information systems, New Jersey Institute of Technology, US) present 16 research papers dealing with the foundation, development, and design of computer-based emergency management information systems (EMIS).
