商品簡介
Entries place Kierkegaard in historical and geographic context, introduce his writings, and explain many of his concepts. They provide information on Kierkegaard and his contemporaries, and also on other relevant thinkers. An attempt has been made to mention those who are hard to find in other modern dictionaries. Relevant 19th-century events and institutions are given some mention, as are obscure terms with historical reference to Kierkegaard's life as a citizen of Copenhagen. Includes a chronology, and appendices on Kierkegaard's writings and pseudonyms. Watkin teaches philosophy at the University of Tasmania. Annotation c. Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
