商品簡介
Michalowski (Ancient Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations, U. of Michigan) has edited this volume on the Ur III period of Mesopotamian history in honor of Sigrist, whose research and scholarship accounts for nearly one-third of the existing literature on the subject. These research articles and essays celebrate Sigrist's efforts at making cuneiform texts available for study while covering many other archaeological and historical discoveries in the years since. Photographs of the actual tablets containing the cuneiforms are also presented. Some of the essays are presented in their original language, such as German and Italian, without an English interpretation. Distributed in North America by The David Brown Book Co.
