商品簡介
Consisting of 15 papers, this collection examines the experiences of women learning through digital technologies, studying to become IT professionals, and working with IT. The researchers also explore representations of women and technology in different media, and gender performance in Web 2.0 technologies, virtual learning groups, and online education. Three of the chapters employ a distinctive theoretical perspective that originates in the work of Karen Barad, a theoretical physicist turned feminist researcher, using the interactions of physics phenomena as metaphors for the interactions of people and the material features of their environments.
