This reference for researchers, health-policy professionals, journalists, and home buyers compiles health care statistics for the 50 states and Washington DC in the following seven health categories: birth and reproductive health, deaths, facilities, finance, incidence of disease, providers, and physical fitness. The rankings reflect access to health care providers, affordability of health care, and the general health of the population.
