商品簡介
Peters (education, U. of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign) collects ten of his writings, written over the course of the 2000s, offering post-modern critiques of neoliberalism in education. He characterizes the writings as "critical historiographies that emphasize different eras, transitions, mutations, and histories." Strongly influenced by the ideas of Michel Foucault, he is nevertheless sympathetic to neo-Marxist critiques of the capitalist system as a whole and also brings in ideas from mathematical and biological systems theory and second-order cybernetics.
