商品簡介
The Early Irish Fiction, c.1980-1820 series presents Irish novels that are less-well known than those by contemporaries such as Swift, Goldsmith, and Edgeworth. It is designed for scholars and students of Irish writing in English, of the English novel, or of Ireland during the period. This edition seeks to restore Amory's autobiographical novel to its form at its first publication in 1756. Moyra Haslett (English, Queen's U., Belfast) provides an introduction, notes, a list of emendations, a glossary of theological terms, and a select bibliography as well as the text. There is no index.
