作者簡介
Karol Wojtyla, born in Poland in May 1920, was elected Pope in October 1978, taking the name John Paul II. He died in Rome on April 1, 2005, after more than a quarter century in the pontificate. On May 1, 2011, Pope John Paul II was beatified, which is the last stage before his expected canonization.
