Anne Margaret Lewis Anne enjoys taking unique ideas and weaving them into charming stories for both children and adults. "This book was such an exciting project to work on with Wendy Popko, the illustrator. We worked so closely together developing ideas for the illustrations, and in that, weaving the story to become a magical Christmas tale!" she reveals.Anne Margaret Lewis was born and raised in the Detroit area and graduated from the Univeristy of Michigan. She has worked in publishing for many years and loves to write. Anne and her husband Brian live with their four children: Caitlin, Matthew, Patrick and Cameron in Traverse City, Michigan, overlooking Grand Traverse Bay on Old Mission Penninsula. "We try to keep the spirit of Christmas alive for our children and remind them that it is about giving and being with family and friends," she says.She is also the author of Tears of Mother Bear, Hidden Cherries, Lighthouse Fireflies and Hidden Pumpkins.
