She has written travel guides to India, Indonesia, Singapore & Malaysia, Vietnam, Mexico, Costa Rica, and southern Africa. In between her more exotic travels, she has regularly visited Andaluci??a to write articles and books in what she considers to be the optimum conditions, combining sol y sombra (sun and shade), not to mention tapas. Her main base is now in London. She is also the author of the National Geographic Traveler: Spain guidebook.
