MARTA SIERRA is an associate professor of Spanish and Latin American Literature at Kenyon College. She has published extensively on Latin American urban representations, the connections of media and literature, the scope and gender tensions of the Argentinean avant-gardes, poetry and film of 1990s Argentina, and feminist conceptualizations of space in the literatures and cultures of Argentina and Chile. She is co-editor of Global and Local Geographies: The (Dis)locations of Contemporary Feminisms (2007) and Transnational Borderlands in Women's Global Networks: The Making of Cultural Resistance (2011).
