She is the recipient of a Somerset Maugham Award and the W. H. Smith Award. Emma Mason is a senior lecturer in the department of English and comparative literary studies at the University of Warwick in the UK. She is the author of The Cambridge Introduction to Wordsworth, Nineteenth-Century Religion and Literature, and Women Poets of the Nineteenth Century, and the coeditor of The Blackwell Companion to the Bible in English Literature and The Oxford Handbook of the Reception History of the Bible.
