商品簡介
The symposium continued the two-decade tradition of symposia on nano-mechanical behavior of materials at the Society's fall meetings. The proceedings reflect the particular interest this year on using small-scale tests to examine a locally small structure or defect, and using nano-mechanics to determine nanometer-scale mechanisms that control macroscopic mechanical behavior. The 24 papers include discussions on the mechanical behavior of ion-irradiated iron-chromium alloys investigated by spherical indentation, nanoscale dynamic viscoelastic measurements at elevated temperature, activation energy and blistering rate in hydrogen-implanted semiconductors, nanoparticle-enhanced solders for increases solder reliability, and the influence of surface segregation on the mechanical property of metallic alloy nanowires.
