MORIKI OHARA is Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at Ryokoku University, Japan. He received a PhD from Kyoto University, Japan.His previous publications includeComparing the Interfirm Relations in Motorcycle Industry in China, Taiwan, and India, (Kyoto Journal of Economics,2008) and Interfirm Relations under Late-Industrialization in China: The Supplier System in the Motorcycle Industry (IDE-JETRO, 2006).
MANIMEGALAI VIJAYABASKAR is Assistant Professor at the Madras Institute of Development Studies, Indian Institute of Information Technology, India,and has conducted numerous research projects on the industrialisation processes in India, with emphasis on organizational forms, new technologies, labour processes and markets. He was a fellow of the Charles Wallace India Trust at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London 2003-4, UK.
HONG LIN is Director of the Shandong Institute for East Asian Studies and Associate Professor at the Centre for Japanese Studies,Shandong University, China. His previous publications include Risk Management and Development Promotion Mechanism under Chinese Interfirm Division of Labor: A Comparative Study on Motorcycle and Electronics Industry in China and Japan (Strategy and Management, 1999).
