Jenna Woods developed the original Nur Method of coordingated practice, from over 30 years' experience with finger cymbals as a Middle Eastern dancer/percussionist, combined with professional Aston-PatterningR training in the teaching and application of fluid biomechanics. Between eight different sets of cymbals (and counting), she explores the range of her instruments in powerful meditative sound concerts, plays with other musicians, and teaches Zillfest workshops to celebrate, inspire, teach and advance the art of playing finger cymbals, both within and beyond Middle Eastern traditions. She lives in Colorado.
