Since 1998, the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU) has offered leadership Development Institutes (lDIs) and Women's leadership Development Institutes (WlDIs) every other year with the goal of identifying, equipping, and encouraging the next generation of leadership for Christ-centered higher education. The chapter authors of this compilation are drawn from lDI/WlDI resource leadership Teams over the past dozen years, collectively bringing hundreds of years of leadership experience to the topics being addressed. These authors have served effectively in senior-level leadership positions; they have also experienced God's calling though job transitions, family demands, and other relational responsibilities that have shaped their careers.
