Nicholas Montemarano is the author of a story collection, If the Sky Falls (a New York Times Book Review Editor's Choice) and a debut novel, A Fine Place. His fiction has been reprinted in The Pushcart Prize (2003) and cited as distinguished stories of the year in The Best American Short Stories four times. He is Associate Professor of English at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA.
