CURT SAMPSON is a former touring professional and a regular contributor to Golf Magazine and Golf.com. Sampson, who re-created Ben Hogan's greatest season in a three-part series for Sports Illustrated last year, has written 10 books, including the bestsellers The Masters and Hogan. He lives in Ennis, Texas.
