Debra Pappas, PhD, author of Mom, Dad, Come Back Soon, has degrees in both psychology and sociology. She lives with her two teenage sons in Lee's Summit, Missouri.
Carol Koeller is the illustrator of?Mom, Dad, Come Back Soon, as well as several educational books. Her expressive characters also appear in children's magazines and on greeting cards. She grew up on the East Coast, spent ten years in California, and then settled in Chicago, where she now lives with her husband, two daughters, and various pets.
