The book: Ennio Morricone is an Italian composer and conductor of many Italo-Western classics such as The Good the Bad and the Ugly. Born in Rome, Morricone wrote more than five hundred soundtracks for a wide variety of genres and received the Honorary Academy Award for career achievement in 2007. The book is a portrait of the artist with many private, mostly unpublished photographs accompanied by many stunning film stills and music of Morricone’s work. The music: The four CDs contain more than sixty music tracks from Morricone’s most famous films such as For a Few Dollars, The Good the Bad and the Ugly, The Untouchables, and Once Upon a Time in America.
